About the site

  • I created the website in August 1998. It was dedicated to both Arthur Rimbaud and Leonardo DiCaprio, who played the French Poet in "Total Eclipse". It was first launched at Club-Internet, my first Internet provider, then moved to Multimania on December 12, 1998. To get rid of ads, I moved it to Infomaniak on March 30, 2002. Due to problems with bandwith quotas (DiCaprio fever), I had to move it to Online.net on January 13, 2003. Since end of 2003, the site is back to Infomaniak, for an unknow period of time. The DiCaprio part was closed in January 2006.

  • I used AnfyJava, Gif Movie Gear, FTP Expert, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Paint Shop Pro, WebExpert to update it and to create the design. which was made by me. So thanks not to reproduce it in any other place.

  • The site is optimised for Internet Explorer and Firefox, with a screen resolution of 800x600 minimum. Javascript must be enabled in your browser for the website to be fully accessible (Pictures, radioblog, applets and so on ...).

  • Special thanks to Angie, Dany, Claire Arnold, Marcie Lucas and John Evans who helped me to translate Rimbaud's biography in English ; to Miguelito and Sparco who gave me some interesting URLs ; to Rod for his explanations about frames and targets ; and to Nelleke who sent me many poems translated by Oliver Bernard.
Thanks to everybody who contribute to the success of this site.

  • Who am I? Well, my name Catherine.
